Kubota Onsite Reclamation (KORe)
Our MBRs are going underground thanks to a compact design that can fit inside a single fiberglass reinforced pastic (FRP) tank. As a popular installation method in Japan these buried MBRs provide the same high quality treatment that owners have come to expect from Kubota.
KORe's Purpose
These plants are intended for small communities who are isolated from larger municipal wastewater treatment plants. With treatment capacity ranging from 5,000 gpd to 25,000 gpd KORe allows a school, a ski resort, or a brand new housing developement to acheive non detect levels of BOD/TSS and 10 mg/L TN while the treatment process remains hidden from sight.
KORe Installation in Washington State
The unincorporated Washington town of Fall City has been plagued by undersized and failing septic systems for decades. But thanks to a new KORe system this rural community is poised to grow and thrive.
The strict treatment requirements seen below necessitated the use of an MBR to protect two nearby rivers.
Constituent | Influent | Effluent |
---|---|---|
BOD5 | 386 mg/L | < 5 mg/L |
TSS | 479 mg/L | < 5 mg/L |
TKN | 85 mg/L | - |
TN | - | < 10 mg/L |
